Ideas Competition Winners Announced

Kevin Moquin, AIA and Tony Cowles, MLA were presented with the Award for Excellence at the AIA Maine annual meeting December 2 at City Hall in Portland. An Honor Award also went to Arcadia Designworks and Richardson Associates. All of the entries were on display and Competition Chair Carol DeTine gave a presentation which included photos of the site, the jurors at work, and comments about the process. Juror Rob Whitten, AIA presented the awards and gave comments about the quality and individuality of the entries and the criteria included in the judging process. Also included in the jury were John Gordon, AIA and Joe Hemes, AIA.
